MATH
In Math, students are grouped according to ability level. Placement is based according to last year's performance, teacher recommendations, and observations of student readiness in class. The curriculum remains the same for all students; however the pace and method of instruction may vary from group to group. Topics discussed this year includes:
SIMPLE SOLUTIONS St. Paul will continue to implement the supplemental math program called "Simple Solutions" (SS). Daily practice will help students to fully master and retain the skills and concepts they learn. As part of the approach, students will complete one lesson a day for four days. On the fifth day, students will take a quiz on the material covered the previous four days. Help Pages are in the back of students' SS books for quick reference. |
